MEET KANEESHA

"I've always been referred to as a perfectionist and overachiever and I used to feel bad for that but over time I've realised that it's  a superpower and not a flaw at all"

Kaneesha Primus is a Creative Director and Wedding and Event Florist in Trinidad and Tobago.

She comes from humble beginnings, growing up in the deep south of Trinidad, with her mom and grandparents. She was always surrounded by nature as her family grew different crops and had lots of plants. That environment shaped her appreciation for texture, color, and the quiet beauty of natural elements. From early on, she paid attention to details others overlooked and found joy in creating spaces that felt warm, thoughtful, and inviting.

In 2016, she stepped into entrepreneurship through event management, bringing structure and organization to weddings and special events. Over time, she realized that what people remembered most was not just how an event was run, but how it felt. The atmosphere. The design. The presence of florals.

As her vision evolved, so did her focus. She saw the need for more refined, intentional floral design and chose to develop that skill at a higher level. Kaneesha trained both locally and internationally, learning from respected designers including Preston Bailey and Sarah Campbell. What began as a gap in the market became the foundation of her work.

Today, Kaneesha is known for elevated floral design that enhances the overall experience of a wedding or event. Her work is guided by a strong sense of cohesion, ensuring each arrangement feels natural within the space and aligned with the client’s vision. She collaborates closely with planners, coordinators, and creative partners to bring everything together seamlessly.

She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with Marketing from the University of London, which informs the thoughtful and structured approach behind her work.

At its core, her work is about creating spaces that feel considered, inviting, and memorable. Florals are not simply added details. They are part of the experience.
