Kaneesha Primus is the founder and creative visionary behind Kaneesha Primus Design Ltd, Trinidad and Tobago's leading expert in large scale fresh floral installations and fresh floral and event design.
She started her first event management company in 2016 but saw a gap in the market when she couldn’t find anyone locally who could produce the modern, luxurious work she wanted for her events. This led to her learning and training in floral and event design internationally and founding KPD.
With a natural eye for design and a deep commitment to excellence, she honed her craft through years of training and experience, learning from some of the industry’s most renowned figures, including Preston Bailey and Sarah Campbell while also being mentored by the late Marva John Williams, a beloved Trinidadian florist. Her work reflects a distinctive blend of artistic creativity, professional experience, and her upbringing in the Caribbean countryside.
Personally, Kaneesha has always been committed to excelling. From topping her primary school in the national SEA exams to achieving a bachelor’s degree (with honours) whilst simultaneously raising a toddler, caring for her husband, household and working full time in the corporate world. She puts her best foot forward in all areas of her life.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of London, and is certified in Event Management, Digital Marketing, and Social Media Management. This blend of creativity and business acumen ensures that every project she undertakes is both visually stunning and strategically executed.
In her personal life, Kaneesha is a devoted wife and mother of three. When she’s not crafting exceptional events, she enjoys working out, reading, dancing salsa, and immersing herself in personal development. A passionate traveler, she finds inspiration in exploring new cultures and the wonders of the world.
Fun Fact: Kaneesha is also a beauty queen and hold's the titles Miss Beauty Trinidad & Tobago 2018 and Miss Abercromby Street Divali Queen 2016. She credits pageantry for helping her learn self confidence, discipline and grace.
